Some amazing media opportunities for all of you out there. Two weeks ago I caught up with Samah Hadid. Samah and I met a year ago when we were both guests on ABC1's Q&A.
Samah recently moved over from Sydney to Melbourne and has taken on the reigns as the Australian Director of The Global Poverty Project, an initiative to end extreme poverty within a generation. Previously she held the role as the Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations.
Over dinner, Samah told me that she was after skilled volunteers with media production experience. This includes a videographer who can also edit, a researcher and story teller and a social media officer amongst other roles. The perfect thing about these opportunities is that you'll be contributing your skills to a worthwhile cause and I know that without a doubt you'll grow from the experience. You can see all the media positions they're after here.
Samah will also be attending the Media Talks event this Thursday so those interested can also have a chance to speak with her on the night.
